LeGals Zipsation
ridden and trained by Monica Baker wins 5th in the
2yr old Western Pleasure Class.
The mare is owned by
Tina Krichbaum from Jimanti Farms in Eatonville, WA. After the mares
stunning performance, which was obviously the crowd favorite, she was
purchased by Carrie Nickerson of Orleans, MA. Carrie's agent and trainer
is Ty Hornick or OH.
This talented mare
went on to the Reichert Celebration and tied for first in the Intermediate
2yr old West. Pleas. futurity. Congratulations to her new owners.
LeGals Zipsation is an
amazing individual and Monica did a wonderful job bringing her along in

ridden by Kara Whitsell were 4th in the Jr. Trail
and 8th in the Jr. Western Riding.
This beautiful and
talented 4 yr old all-around gelding is owned by Silver Creek Ranch, Peg
and Mike Marty of Woodland, UT. This is the geldings first year in Western
Riding and he's sure to be a star with Kara's excellent training behind
him. This gelding is ready for a Youth or Amateur and being offered for

Tina Slater
and Jets Tristar had an exciting World Show.
They were 3rd in the tough
Amateur Showmanship class and 5th in the Amateur Trail. The
Sr. gelding was bred, raised and owned by Slater Stables in
Olympia, WA. So much fun to take a horse this far when he's
out of their own breeding program. We are proud to have
played a part by Kara doing a wonderful job training both the
horse and rider and Patty put on some polish before Tina went in
to compete. It's great having the talent of Patty, Monica and
Kara all under one roof here at Baker Training Stable.

Kenna Slater and
Negotiate By Zippo
got to take home some hardware (a
beautiful belt buckle) when they won Reserve World Champion Novice Amateur
Showmanship. They were also 3rd in the competitive Novice Amateur
Huntseat Equitation class.
Kenna and Nigel have
been very competitive for the All-Around Hi Pt at every show this year.
Nigel is now being offered for sale with many more APHA points added to
his record. |

Blazing Hot and Soxy
and Shawn Kingma
were amazing when they finished 7th in the Amateur
Showmanship. This 3 yr. old mare knew nothing about setting up or pivoting
till last October when Shawn and Patty started their kindergarten lessons
on Showmanship with Soxy. The two have worked very hard and really enjoy
this event. Monica has helped so much with their schooling, as well.

Flirtin With My Zippr,
owned and shown by Carol Keller, finished with an 8th place in the very
competitive 45 yrs and over Amateur Western Pleasure class. This pretty
and refined mare is tripled papered (Quarter Horse, Paint, and Pinto)
and she is for sale.
Monica picked up a
first at the NW Emerald
Quarter Horse show in the Sr. West. Pleasure in
September in Monroe, WA. |
